How is Aircraft Maintenance Handled?
Our experienced maintenance officer executes and oversees recurring and unscheduled maintenance services on our club aircraft.
Squawks are handled through our online scheduling service. We take great pride in making sure our aircraft are well maintained and airworthy.
Can I get my Private Pilot License through Clearwater Valley Aero Club?
Possibly!
Becoming a member of Clearwater Valley Aero Club (CVAC) can be a great, economical way to earn your private pilot certificate, if a qualified Training Officer is available. CFI, Nick Grachanin, who has trained many pilots through CVAC recently moved away and we currently have no CFI to replace him.
If you are interested in becoming a pilot, please contact CVAC to inquire about our current status. We will be happy to answer questions you might have.
To become a member, you do not need any flight experience. However, already licensed pilots are welcome and encouraged to join the club. We have several spots in both planes open.
How do the costs of Club flying compare with area rentals?
We are confident that our club rates for members will be the most economical way for you to train and gain flying hours.
To rent airplanes (at any rate) in our area is very limited and membership in our club makes flying possible without having to travel to a larger airport where rentals might be available. As a member, you will be flying the airplane you are part-owner of.
There are also many other advantages to club membership, like becoming part of a thriving aviation community with many volunteer opportunities.
